Finished Sequence

Today we finished our title sequence for education death which was pretty good with very few errors. This means we can hand the title sequence over to Big John which will be added on to the start of the film. All we need to do now is finish Editing the film that will be us Finished EDUCATION DEATH

Education Death

We were giving a task to make a Zombie Film. The first thing we done was make a storyboard such as ideas for the film and different names for the film. We then went on to give the people in our group different Characters such as james being the good guy, me being the bad guy and shaun being the first person to become a zombie. After we gave each other characters we came up with the name education Death. After this we started to film the movie. After we Finished filming me and James started editing the Film together. My favorite scene i filmed was the fight scene between me and James.

Animation

Today we looked over our animation and found some errors so we decided to change a few things such as the lighting and the way it looked. Me And James then started putting the animation together with the new changes. Three terms we also use in animation are frame rate, Onion skinning and also Tweening.
Frame rate is the how fast a number of frames are too make the animation work smoothly the Number of frames per second are 24 we did this when we were making our Flip book so that it would work smoother.
Onion Skinning  Is when you can see the one of the frames to another frame so you can see exactly where the one before was so its in the exact same place we did this on photo shop with our flip book by putting the opacity down to 50% so we could see though then putting it back up to 100%.
Tweening is the drawing between the first Drawing in our flip Book and the last Drawing In our flip book its all the drawing in between the two drawings.

Today in Dees Class

Toady in Dees class we started putting our animation together we done this in a stop motion way my job today was too use the camera and take a picture every time james moved the figure i also blogged  on the trip yesterday by answering some questions on the trip

Big johns Class

Today in Big Johns Class we finished filming our last three scenes of the zombie film which nows means we are finished filming so now we can move on too editing the film. The three Scenes we filmed today were the full intro the scene where i get attacked and also the scene were james gets attacked. So now onto editing....

stirling Uni trip

Yesterday we attended a trip to Stirling  university where we went to a lecture by Paul Thomson On the digital age and people that were born digital which is after the year 1980 the lecture i thought was pretty interesting because i found out things that i didnt know such as everyone is a digital consumer. I also learned about the App Laya which lets you take pictures of a painting or a building and it will give a huge amount of information on the subject.
We then got a trip around the Uni and some of the paintings. I also enjoyed the facilities in Stirling especially the new block such as the library  which had 11 million spent on it also the new area .
Also on the trip we learned about the macrobert centre which we took a trip around we seen some work of different artists in the centre is a centre for artists such as music and also paintings. My Favourite painting at the art centre was a painting a willie roger called 'wee hangover' . we also learned about the puppet animation festival . In the university there was also a travel agents a pharmacy a news agents and also a food court. the library was also pretty cool as it had three levels a toilet on every level and the book shelves were movable. We also talked about going  to the puppet animation festival which is going to be held in the macrobert centre.

Animation

Today for our group animation me and shaun drew up the silhouettes for the animation we then tried to think about different ways we could make the silhouette move the ideas we thought about we using pins and also wire. we then figured out that the easiest thing to use was blue tack on the paper we chose this because its easier to get hold off easier to use and it will give the look of the silhouette a smooth movement to it.
